Description
The Horse is an ungulate, or hooved, herbivorous mammal. Horses are adapted to run, allowing them to quickly escape predators, possessing an excellent sense of balance and a strong fight-or-flight response. Related to this need to flee from predators in the wild is an unusual trait: horses are able to sleep both standing up and lying down.
The natural diet of the Horse is pasture grass and tender plants.
Unlocking in Game-play
- Horses are available early in the game. There are several breeding quests.
- You receive one baby Lvl 1 Horse for completing the first Zoo Title quest. (tip: Keep this baby horse in inventory, AS A BABY, for a future 'release to wild' quest!)
- You receive one baby Lvl 1 Horse from "A Noble Bird" quest around Level 18.5.
- You receive one 'Dapple Grey' Horse from Dr.Byrd breeding quest.
- There is a quest - "Level 12+ ~ Grump's Order"; to Breed & release a Baby Horse. (tip: Release the previously saved reward Lvl1 baby horse, so you don't lose your new Lvl2 foal!)
- You'll need to have a Lvl3+ horse for the breeding quest
- Horses are part of at least 3 Collections
- Horses are a Club contests animal
- Horse puzzle pieces are green/Common

Each new level will add 5% of the base popularity to their popularity, sell price and release experience. So if the base popularity is 1000, each level will increase the popularity by 50.
