Animals are, of course, the reason for a Zoo. Players start with a few domestic animals and more become available as one progresses through the game.
Most animals can be purchased with coins or diamonds. However, there are other ways animals may be acquired, including:
- Reward for completing Quests
- Received as level up reward
- Prize for Club contests or Events
- Animals can also be obtained by collecting puzzle pieces
Before placing a new animal, players need to build appropriate Enclosures. Each Animal requires a species-specific enclosure, a certain amount of enclosure space and there is a maximum number of animals per enclosure (visit the animal pages to see those details and info).
Adding a feeding trough, watering hole, and play equipment to the enclosure will help players gain more experience, check the Biomes page for more information.
To get baby animals: you will need to have Breeding Shelters for each Biome (and a Breeding Center).
Some animals are only available through Special Events or by spending real money. Some animals are available in Special Coats or come as rewards in the Daily Reward Calendar or for Completing Quests. See the bottom of this page for more information.
