Chimpanzees are the first forest animals available in game. 2 chimpanzees are given, one as a reward for getting 5 friends (level 6 quest) and the second for hiring 3 employees after having built the villa. More chimpanzees can be purchased for 20 diamonds.
The Common Chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes) is strongly endangered/listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List due to illegal human predation.
Players can get up to 8 chimpanzees in the same enclosure:
